Our Elders

Leaders and shepherds

Elders serve as the leaders, shepherds, and examples to our church community — representing both men and women called by the Lord, with proven character and commitment, to lead our local expression of Christ's body. We believe that both women and men are qualified for eldership in the Church.

What We Believe

Our doctrinal statement

Proudly affiliated with the Assemblies of God, and welcoming people from every corner of the whole body of Christ.

The Bible
We believe that God has inspired the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments as the record and means of his saving work in the world.
God
We believe in the triune God as sovereign creator of all things.
Mankind
Humans, both male and female, were created in God's image for His glory. The first humans, Adam and Eve, were created without sin and appointed as caretakers of the rest of God's creation.
The Fall
We believe mankind has fallen from the perfect state in which God created them, and that all human beings are sinners by nature and choice.
Jesus
We believe that God's Word became flesh in Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, born of the virgin Mary. Jesus is the only mediator between God and man — salvation and redemption are found only in him.
Holy Spirit
After Jesus rose from the dead he ascended into heaven, and his Spirit descended on the day of Pentecost. The Holy Spirit equips, empowers, and sanctifies God's people.
Salvation
We believe salvation was birthed in the plan of God from all eternity, as God willed to graciously save a great multitude of guilty sinners from every tribe, language, people, and nation.
The Church
We believe the universal church is manifested in local churches, of which Christ is the only Head. Each local church is the Church — the household of God, the assembly of the living God, and the pillar and foundation of the truth.
